I have noticed that if I create a configuration that doesn't have a sheet metal part all sheets lose their properties. sheet thickness, bounding box width/length, etc. are all gone from all configurations ... To get my properties back I have been creating a new sheet metal part then copying the property tags over to the other bodies to get them back
I have created new sheet formats recently and have updated the properties within that sheet format to have all dimensions as an ANSI standard, and also to have the views show as 3rd angle projection ... When I open the sheet to start a new drawing, the document properties for the standard reads ANSI, however when I further expand to select linear dimensions, angle, section...they all read ISO ... My sheet properties also switch back to first angle projection

Has anyone found out how to modify the default properties that are generated in a cut-list when producing sheet metal parts ... There HAS to be some sort of txt file that contains these properties somewhere
If you want to change the sheet properties on all the sheets at once, it still won't work ... You select "All" and "apply changes" And switch to your other sheets, and they didn't change ... So you have to do it to each individual sheet
Hi, how can you get solidworks drawing custom properties ... Or even better the custom properties of a model attached to an active sheet in slddrw ... I assume I would set this: Set swSheet = swModel.GetCurrentSheet But then I don't know how to get the the custom properties or the base model and it's active configuration
Sometime, I would like to add cut list properties with sheet metal part's flat pattern which shows a lot of things like sheet thickness, blank size etc ... But in some cases, I am unable to add these cut list properties
